This filly is being offered to an approved home only. She was running in the arena with her brother and she fell into the fence. X-rays show a "shaving" of bone off her rear ankle (in the front). Her prognosis is unknown. Right now she seems fine (untill I requested X-rays the vet had determined it was just a bruised ligament) . Therefore I am looking to place her in a home. With her conformation, height, COLOR, and beautiful bloodlines, she will make an awesome broodmare.
Crickett is very typy, dished face, teacup muzzle, huge doe eye. She is fine boned, and tall. Crickett is very smart, and while has the normal "Whats that!!" when she sees something new, is very level headed. When we needed to go to the vet she had never even been near a trailer. I got her loaded (by myself) in less than 20 minutes. At the she was calm, not dancing around, and we were able to take 4 xrays without sedation. On a 9month old, first time away from home, thats great!!
TERMS OF OWNERSHIP:
Crickett is available to an approved home ONLY. References will be requested, and followed up on. Crickett may not be resold. If you can't keep her she comes back to me. No exceptions. I am looking for someone who is interested in giving this filly a good quality of life, not someone who is just wanting a free horse. She may need to have those bone chips removed in the future, The surgury is approx $1500. If this has to be done I would hope her new family would do it. . I am to remain co owner to prevent unauthorized resale.
